i am a first time offender
As a first time offender, you should be able to have these charges negotiated successfully. Restitution, a fine, some reporting via supervision or probation and that should be the end of it. Unless there's some peculiarity about the rural nature of the county where you were charged, you won't be facing jail time. Still, this is nothing that you should try to do yourself. Go get a criminal defense lawyer. If you can't afford one, get the public defender. Then, follow their lead and their advice.
