In 1994 I got deferred adjudication, I had to get my court records yesterday and as I was looking I notice it says in 95 deferred adjudication terminated. What does that mean? This happened in Houston Texas
This is not a real estate question. A lawyer needs to review the court's file to determine what that entry means. There should be a court order that more fully details what happened. If you violated the terms of your community supervision, it may have been terminated by the granting of a motion to adjudicate. Consider calling the lawyer that defended you in the criminal case.
Exchange of information through Avvo's Questions forum does not establish an attorney-client relationship with me. That relationship is established only by individual consultation and execution of a written agreement for legal services. My Avvo posts are based on limited information provided and are not intended as conclusive legal advice.
Could mean your probation was complete and your case was dismissed or that your probation was complete and you were convicted. If your case was dismissed you may be able to seal that record from public view. It is best that you seek advice from a Board Certified Criminal lawyer.
That means that you completed the deferred adjudication probation without being revoked. You do not have a conviction.
