My boyfriend is on probation for family violence in Ward County.... He has no driver's license and his car has no insurance. He has a set curfew and is supposed to get permission when traveling only for work purposes. He got arrested for DWI yesterday in Mitchell County.... I'm just curious as to what he might be looking at....
When a person is placed on probation they are given specific rules they are supposed to follow. If a person fails to follow the rules (breaking curfew, committing a new offense, etc.) the judge has the option of revoking the person's probation and sending them to jail/prison. The court may be forgiving and only impose some sort of additional requirements or a jail sanction and allow the person to stay on probation but there's no guarantee the court will be so forgiving. Your boyfriend needs to talk to an attorney.
