I need a loan on a house in foreclosure my settlement will cover the entire cost. My credit is not great if my Attorney wrote something about my settlement and amount will it help my chance getting the loan?
I have filed several chapter 13 bankruptcies for people who had debts but were waiting for a settlement Once the settlement came, I then either dismiss the case or have the chapter 13 trustee distribute the proceeds. Alternatively, you can approach companies that lend against lawsuits. They are expensive but avoid bankruptcy.
Since you are represented by counsel, you must direct all questions to your attorney. THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE! YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO AN ATTORNEY WHO IS LICENSED IN YOUR STATE FOR LEGAL ADVICE. This is merely suggestions for you to think about in discussing your situation with the local attorney.
