My parents added my sisters, their husbands and me to a timeshare deed years ago. We have all signed a quit claim removing our interests and have filed with the county. We have tried working with the association as my parents can not use it due to age/mobility restrictions as well as financial hardship. If they stop paying maintenance fees and let the association foreclose, are my sisters and I still responsible for the maintenance fees even though we recorded a quit claim?
Perhaps, but more info is needed. The quit claim probably has no relevance has far as the association is concerned. If husband sign quit claim concerning wife, it has no effect on mortgage company and husband.
