A notice from the landlord normally has to tell you how you are in violation of the lease. You could be paid up until the end of the year but the landlord would likely have the right to service you a quit notice if he did an inspection and found a meth lab.
The notice normally does not give the landlord the right to eject you on day 11. It normally gives him the ability to file an eviction case on day 11, if you have not surrendered the premises.
