My husband and I own a home jointly in another state which we are preparing to sell. We must grant power of attorney to our son to execute the sale. Must my husband and I prepare separate POAs or can we submit a single form naming both of us as principals?
You will have to submit a separate power of attorney each and it will have to satisfy the NC new rules on this. Let the closing attorney direct you as they will have the appropriate form to use.
