My husband took my daughters boyfriend to court because he claims that the boyfriend vandalized his car, there wasn't enough evidence to prove it so the charge was dismissed, however since my husband filed a stalking charge the boyfriend of my daughter can't get a job because it's in his record, even if it was dismissed. Now he has a lawyer that is trying to seal the dismissed charged but my husband has to go to court order to be present at the hearing.
The attorney that is attempting to seal the record can and will answer this. We attorneys have our ways. Some will depend on the judge. I'm wondering now as I reread your post who you're pulling for the boyfriend or your husband. Good luck.
