My ex fails to come to her court supervised visits of our child and we now have a contempt hearing. If she fails to come to the contempt hearing, what happens next? Will they begin TPR process?
PA law only permits termination of parental rights when there is a person who is ready, willing and able to adopt the child. So your ex partner could lose all custody rights, including the right to have supervised visits, but will not be terminated as a parent until an adoption proceeding is starting. I hope this helps you understand the next developments.
