if my 15 year old girlfriend and her 12 year old sister were hit by their mother and they called CYS can they call and request to live at my or a friends house. if they request my house will CYS allow them to stay at my house even though me and my girlfriend had a pregnancy scare but we slept in separate rooms.
If they call, then an investigation will be done. Unless it's absolutely necessary, the children will not be removed from the home. If they are, any placement would have to be reviewed and approved by CYS and/or the court. Typically, they try to place children with other family members before friends. Regardless of where they may end up staying, if your girlfriend and her sister are truly being abused, then they should call CYS or talk to a teacher about it.

CYS will only seek removal from a home out of clear necessity. CYS will only place children into a licensed foster home or kinship home via a court order. Foster parents are adults. If you are over 18 and your girlfirend is 15, you have many other things to be concerned about.
