If landlord filed writ after accepting money then didnt go through with it can he file 2nd writ bc we havent paid this mths rent
We have been renting from my ex-inlaws for 4 yrs paying $400 a mth. We then get lease in mail they wanted us to sign & it stated we would now have to pay $750 a mth. We were not going to pay tgat for this house. They filed eviction, we went to talk to them & they agreed we could pay $500 & they wouldnt go to court date for eviction. We found out they did go to court but waited 2wks to file writ while still accepting our money. They didnt go through with 1st writ but now theyre saying theyre going to file a 2nd writ bc we arent catching up on rent fast enough & we dont get to decide whats fast enough they will decide that. What can we do & can they file 2nd writ.
