Im renting 2 storage units. Began renting both at 2 different times. I was late on both but made payment to get the bigger of the 2 caught up. I was denied access To that unit until I got caught up with the little one which was only one payment behind. Is that legal?
You need to review your contract. Chances are that the contract covers both units together and not separately so a default on one is a default on both.
Take a look at the contract that you signed to see if there is a provision for their actions
This response is only a basic answer to your question and is not intended to be legal advise. It is your job to hire an attorney and to discuss the specifics of this question with him or her. I am not giving you specific legal advise and there is no attorney-client relationship created by my answer to your question. The choice of an attorney is an important decision that you must make and that choice should not be made upon adverting alone.
If both units are listed on the same contract they likely can
