I get my courrt papers and the DA has put the charge back on me what does that mean i was riding in a car with two other people and the person in the backseat hides drugs and fakke money in the backseat pockets and he doesnt claim them and they charge everyboody and they dismissed one charge but place the charge back on me while im out on bond what does that mean
It only means that the police officers arrested you and charged you with a crime. Perhaps the magistrate judge dismissed those charges but once the charges made it to the DA's office, they proceeded individually and brought charges as they saw appropriate.
In short, charges filed and or dismissed during the arrest and preliminary hearing stages dont determine what the DA will do.
At this point, hire a defense attorney.
