I knew that marijuana was legal, but was unaware that it was illegal to smoke in public so that is my bad, but on top of that, the officer listed my address as being from Nevada when my ID clearly stated I was Canadian. Can this ticket still be properly entered into the Nevada State citation database? Do I have any chance of it being thrown out?
It is unlikely you can get the citation thrown out simply for having the wrong address. You can, however, retain an attorney to help you deal with the citation.
