Childcare/Holidays....Example if he's working and not with him can I request for my mom who is the childcare provider the other days to look after him versus a new person who the child is not familiar with. He's 2 years old. Since the father gets him on Sundays as far as Mother's day and Easter, etc. We didn't do a schedule for holidays.
No, you cannot request to have the order changed after the entry unless the typewritten order is missing something that the judge orally declared from the bench. It's common for temporary orders to not discuss holidays because they aren't intended to be long-term, all encompassing orders. If you don't like your temporary order or if it is missing something you can either go back to court for another temporary custody hearing, or set it on for permanent custody and get a more long-term order in place.
You can attempt to go back to have the temporary custody order to have those issues addressed. That is best addressed before any upcoming important holidays. You could also wait for a permanent order to address those. It's best to get an attorney who knows what judges are most likely to address temporary custody again before any permanent custody order, as getting more than one temporary custody order is not typical.
