I have a misdemeanor warrant in Louisiana. I have court in Wisconsin on the 25th, I know that they do a warrant check on people who go to court. Will the warrant from Louisiana show up when they run my name in Wisconsin court??
They would have to do a check called a Triple I report that looks at all states-- depends if you give them a reason to check!
It could, but it'll be dependent on Louisiana having put it into the system correctly. I always tell my clients to assume the worst (i.e., that it's there) and be pleasantly surprised if it isn't. You may want to call the county in Louisiana that issued the warrant to see if they'll remove it if you appear by phone.
The warrant will likely show up if they search. However, many states won't extradite people for misdemeanors.
