I was involved in a car wreck (resulting in fatality of the other person) at no fault of mine last year in June. After the accident the police informed me it's protocol to receive a blood sample because of the accident. I was leary of it because I knew I had thc in my system. When I got to the police station I refused to consent and they said they're getting a search warrant and they said they did so I gave it to them. Now 13 months down the road they're charging me with an owi. I am looking at my case record and I don't see anything or documents regarding the refusal. Should I be able to see this on my case if it was legitimate? If it was refused and the warrant wasn't real could I fight this case?
