Collin County, TX. I married just over a year ago, I bought my home just days before the marriage. She moved in with a 20 yr old daughter and a 14 yr old daughter. I want a divorce. She does not have a job. She has 6 cats that she brought to the house, violating city ordinance and destroying the home with constant urine and feces. Younger kid throws pool parties and busted the pool system. Wife uses my money to pay for her kids clothing and food, I didn't adopt the kids. She has her own bank account with some money but she refuses to use it, and I am suspicious that she is making cash deposits from my earnings.
If you bought the house before marriage, in all likelihood, it is your separate property. Therefore, a judge can exclude your wife from being there. You should document the cat issue with pictures, etc. You also need to protect your own money, consult an attorney and decide how you want to proceed.
Chenge the passwords on your financial accounts and get to a lawyer ASAP.
You do not have to support the children - they have father/s.
With a one year marriage spousal maintenance is unlikely to be an issue though there might be some support while the divorce is pending.
The house sounds like your separate property. If you were around and could have said "no", there may not be reimbursement for the damage you describe. But talk to your lawyer about it.
