My ex and I are incapable of Co parenting. She has told me to email her attorney multiple times. She eventually gave me her email address. I have emailed her attorney multiple times which has upset the attorney as she doesn’t seem to want to help out the situation and prefers to go to court instead. My ex sent me a message to stop emailing her attorney or I will receive a bill. I have been pro per for a few years and would like to know if I can be held liable for contacting my ex’s attorney, Thank you
You might be susceptible to a harassment allegation for the repeated emails to the attorney. There should not be any fees, since you are not that attorney’s client and there is no contract in place between the two of you.
