I am now out of the us an would like a second chance to live in another country. The reason for me being deported is cause i plea out to a sexual battery against my wife. We were legal married for 2 years no children together. I also have my green card an it is not expired yet can i go to Canada?Would i get arrested if i try to enter Canada after being deported from us?
You should definitely talk to a Canadian lawyer and you should specifically ask him if your conviction is bar to obtaining a permanent resident status.
Canada is a different country and they have their own set of rules which you need to inquire about.

This is a question of Canadian immigration law, not US law.
