Order allowed supervised visits anywhere in district if agreed to in writing. Otherwise default. I cannot drive to default and the knew when they got order. I asked for location near me. Ex and attorney refuse to discuss any other location than default so I cannot see my kids. Do they have to make a good faith effort to come up with locations that I can travel to?
You are going to have to go back to court to get the order either clarified or modified. It sounds like the order is very broad as to where the visitation can take place. Although an argument can be made regarding good faith, they can also stick to a strict reading of the order. I think you should consult the attorney that you used to get the order or if no attorney was used, hire one now otherwise you will not get anywhere without going to court.
"Otherwise default"? I am not sure what that means, and how can you drive to default??? The goal is for you to see your kids; so it is time to take the matter back to the judge.
