Rather than try to guess, I will tell you that the statute of limitations is different depending on the crime. For many crimes, the statute of limitations is two years. But there are crimes for which the statute is both shorter or longer.And for fraud, the statute does not begin to run until the fraud is actually discovered, regardless of when it occurred.
