I would also like to know if i have any rights while on the bracelet?
You have a 5th offense OWI, and you were not sent to prison?! You must have had an attorney. And if so, you should direct any questions or concerns to him or her.
You should be receiving good time - 1 day credit for every 4 days served. Unless you were granted the ability to earn extra good time (more credit for time served for performing community service), there is no other way to reduce your jail time. At least, not that I am aware of.
If you were sentenced to probation in addition to jail (and I suspect you were), you may be able to terminate your probation early under certain circumstances. You would have to complete all the conditions of your probation first, however; and serve at least half of your sentence.
You should check with the attorney how represented you on this case to discuss the possibilities of being released earlier, and what rights you have while on the bracelet. The company monitoring the bracelet (or the court itself) should also be able to inform you of the rights you have while on ankle bracelet monitoring. This includes whether you have flexibility to attend alcohol classes, work, school, etc. Also, if you are receiving "good time" credits while on the ankle monitor, and at what rate they accrue.
