Our PD (EB1C) : Sep 7th,2016 is current from January Visa Bulletin. I140 Approved
on Jan 18th,2019 , our I485 case moved to NBC from NSC. We got mail notice from USCIS saying its done to speed up the process. After than no update from USCIS
We opened our 2nd SR on Apr 4th ,2019. But no response for both SR's yet.
Its close to 100 days from case transferred date. Please advise, how long we need to wait to get a response from USCIS on the Adjustment of Status. What is going on USCIS now?
90-120 days is normal for a file to transfer from CIS to the NVC.
Placing SR requests with CIS is a waste of time ... they don't have the file any more.
Call the NVC.

It's not clear from your question when you actually filed I-485. Assuming you are from India, you couldn't file with I-140 back in Sept. 2016, but there had time it was current before Jan. 2019. Anyway, Look at the I-485 processing time at your local field office here (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/) and see where your case stands (Newark: 11 Months to 24.5 Months). Since your PD has retrogressed from Aug. to Dec. 2018, it may be taking longer. Just wait and see.
