I am a US citizen applying I130 for my wife's child (my stepchild) The I130 requires a birth certificate, however the birth certificate is missing the father's name, is it still admissible? or do i need to submit an affidavit? if so what do i need to say in the affidavit? Every where i look online tells me i need a COMPLETE birth certificate containing both mother and father's name.
This is an immigration question. The Avvo computer made it an adoption question. I'll try to change the practice area for you.
