I am currently in F1 status here in the US and in school. I do not have an f1 visa. My Boyfriend is currently a permanent resident. He received residency through marriage to his previous girlfriend. He is not a citizen.
No, marriage would not change your status. However your spouse could file a visa petition for you, which you could use in the future.

Contact a US immigration attorney to review your boyfriend's US naturalization eligibility and to review a strategy for you to remain in lawful status if possible.
Your plan requires a two way discussion which is absent in a one sided written online paragraph.

More information is needed about your boyfriend's immigration status and if he is legally married before I would be able to discuss any benefits that he might be able to petition for on your behalf. Consult an immigration attorney and they should be able to easily assist you and answer your questions. Good luck and try to contact someone soon if your F1 is ending soon.
