Asylum means that you fear persecution fromt he government or its agents if you return to your home country. On its face the fact that theyw ill not accomodate you doesn't sound like a very credible claim. However, please see an attorney if you feel you have other facts.
Before you even THINK about printing anything out, Hire an attorney for both your I-589 case! There are a lot of issues to deal with here. Your attorney can do the following:
1. Look up what's legally feasible at this point
2. Go over both petitions to see if you've met the LEGAL STANDARD for asylum and help you make a good case from your evidence
3. Submit documents and declarations
4. Attend the interview with you
5. Argue for your case after the interview
