I'm a citizen of Spain and I'm now traveling in the US. When I was in Spain, I just registered with US embassy website and got permission to enter the US right away(according to the EU-US agreement of no visa requirement).
I like traveling here and I would like to extend my stay for additional period of time (6 to 12 months). Please, explain me what options I have as a visitor
You generally cannot extend your stay on Visa Waiver entry. If you need more than 90 days, apply for a visa and travel on it. 180 days would be allowed then.

You entered the US on the visa waiver program. There is no legal way to extend your stay in the US as a visitor. You may depart the US and present yourself for a new admission. Customs and Border Patrol will need assurance of your visitor purpose.
