I was walking home from a friends house when all the sudden four boys walk up to me and my friend and beat both of us and rob me this happen in 2011 it’s already 2018 I’m i still able to apply for a u visa with a case that old and with what happen to me?
I am sorry this happened to you. There have been new applications approved many years past the time of an incident. However there is more than the victim’s statement required for the U visa application. You will need to get a U visa certification. Did you work with police or law-enforcement about the incident? Try to find a legal aid organization in your area or see if a local law school has a law clinic that may provide assistance.

Very, very difficult unless you get an 918 Certificate from the law eforcement, and even that the USCIS may deny your U visa based on a seven year delay.
