I'm not familiar with the Youth Act to which you are referring. However, if you are trying to get a record expunged, I can provide some general information. Records are eligible for expungement dependent on the nature of the charge and the disposition. If your charge is eligible, then you can petition the Court for expungement. You can find detailed information on expungement here:
The information provided herein is general information only and not legal advice. The information provided herein does not create an attorney client relationship and is not a substitute for having a consultation with an attorney. It is important to have a consultation with an attorney as the information provided in this forum is limited and cannot possibly cover all potential issues in a given situation
You have to schedule an appointment with an attorney and then proceed with correction of your disclosed conviction.
Juvenile cases can not be expunged. They are sealed and the only parties that can get access is the state in a another criminal action that you have committed. I have not heard of the youth act.
I assume you are referring to a charge in the District of Columbia, sentenced under the Youth Act. These cases can be expunged, if the records are still public. Contact a lawyer to review the expungement options available.
