I was coming to a complete stop behind another vehicle when i was struck from behind.at first the driver said he didnt see me which is bs since all my lights worked properly.but when the officer arrived he admitted he sneezed taking his eyes off the road.but the officer who arrived wasnt the officer who wrote the police report or mention my witness statement about seeing the guy rear end me.the officer who wrote the report even said i left the scene after the accident but i gave him all my information proof of insurance so how did i leave the scene.the damages to my vehicle will tell the story because i was hit directly in the middle of the back of my vehicle which should be proof enough. Now the guy insurance company is denying me pain and suffering which i have a herniated disc well as a bulged disc in my c5-6 c5-7 in my neck even though they paid for me a rental well as paid for the 7000 worth of damage to my car
Sorry to hear this has happened to you. I am not sure what your questions regarding this accident are, but obviously you have sustained serious injuries. It does not appear to me that liability is in dispute, but rather the amount of your damages. Proper valuation of a personal injury claim like yours is an important function of a personal injury attorney. You should make an arrangement to consult with one or more experienced personal injury lawyers in a confidential setting, to answer any questions you may have, and to get an idea of what fair compensation for your case might be.
If they are refusing to properly compensate you for your injuries, then you need to sue the other driver. Contact an attorney to represent you in connection with the case. All attorneys handle cases like this on a contingency fee.

You need to fight the leaving the scene if you got a ticket. Separate from that is the denial of your claim---damage to the front of their car and back of yours should tell the story. Contact a member of the Md. Assn for Justice--they give free consults.
