I was put on unsupervised probation for a pbj for 12 months. The year is over. I had conditions that needed to be met. I met them all during the time except for the evaluation of alcohol and treatment. Which i have not finished yet. I had the evaluation done and currently doing classes. If I don't complete the classes. Can I still be violated or anything like that since the year is up.? State is maryland. Is my probation over???
You can still be violated. If your case is in the District Court, the violation must be within 30 days of the end of your probationary period. Typically, in an unsupervised probation case, the judge will check to see if you have complied with all conditions and if not, the case will be set for a VOP hearing.
