5 seperate times in a 2 year period i was attacked while in jail due to various reasons from witnessing and being a victime of police brutality and gnag activity in the county jail. I was attacked by inmates by the order of religious representitive during church services verbally and physically after services were completed. I was punished for asking a question of clergy which deputies said insited clergy to say i was a false prophet and deserved to die. I did not say a word or fight back at all but i was punished with solitary confinement more then 3 times because of this incident. i also reported a deputy beating another inmate and was targeted because of it by both deputies and inmates because adminastration told everyone i was a snitch. the problems were limited to 5 inmates & 4 cops.
Your problem is going to be proving your allegations. You will need some documented evidence, such as medical reports that show your injuries and prison reports on the assaults if they were documented. Your word will likely not be enough since you are a convicted felon.
If you have such evidence take it to an attorney, who can decide if you have a case.
You can file a complaint with the sheriff. You can try to get a good personal injury lawyer and file a lawsuit. However, expect such a case to be very difficult, as explained in the previous answer.
