I did not receive a ticket at the scene, but it says that I violated section 3309 ‘driving in lanes meant for traffic.’ Also, where it says charged, below says “yes.” Will I receive a court date in the mail? Should I contact a lawyer? I was driving on 676 when the accident occurred, and was merging into the center lane- from the left lane when the car who was behind me in the center lane swerved to cut around me; ultimately cutting me off causing me to rear end them. I have injuries, they sustained none. The state trooper didn't even want to hear my side of the story. He just kept threatening me.

If you are eventually mailed a traffic citation and want to fight the citation issued, you should not attempt to do so by yourself as you do not have the legal acumen or experience to do so successfully and will most probably suffer badly for it.
Contact an experienced defense attorney who specializes in traffic citation defense. He or she may not be able to get the charges completely dismissed but may at the very least mitigate any penalties against you and may be able to keep any points off your license.
