I am 19, BAC was .03 and i received a speeding ticket for driving 60 in a 45
After receiving the ticket, you will have a day in court sometime within the next several months. I would recommend that prior to this court date you speak with an attorney in your county who handles these types of cases. An attorney will be able to review the facts of your case and speak with you about possible resolutions.
Go hire a DUI attorney in your area. Not surprising they didn't arrest you. You will be given court dates at your first appearance. This is not something you want on your record for the rest of your life, so invest in a good defense.
licensed attorney in Montana. Your specific state laws may be different.
Yo go to court on your court date and ask for a lawyer or retain one. As a minor (under 21 for purposes of our DWI laws), you cannot have any alcohol in your system in NC. Your attorney will handle the rest.
Driving after consuming under 21 although it is only a 4pt violation carries a one year suspension of your driving privilege if you are convicted. For a 19 year old there is a restricted privilege available but it requires an alcohol assessment before it can be issued by the judge. In some jurisdictions and with some judges a PJC can be granted saving your license. I recommend you contact an experienced traffic/dui attorney in the Jacksonville area so he/she can discuss your options based on their local knowledge of the courts.
You need to go to your court date. If you fail to appear, a warrant will probably be issued for your arrest. If you are convicted, your sentence will depend on the policies of the county where this happened and your record. Please get an attorney's advice so that your consequences will be minimized.
The fact you were not arrested does not mean you weren't charged or will not have a court date. Given those charges, I recommend you hire a criminal defense attorney to help you deal with them.
