I was given a 10 day notice to pay or move out of my apartment but my 10th day falls on a Saturday. Will sheriffs still come ?

If the tenth day falls on a Sunday, you should be allowed until Monday to move out. It is too early for a deputy sheriff to come out, at least at this precise point in time; that will not happen until/unless your landlord files a Complaint in Summary Ejectment, in which case a deputy sheriff will serve that document along with a Magistrate Summons at your residence, notifying you of your court date in Small Claims Court. The next time a deputy sheriff would arrive would be to post notice of a Writ of Possession after entry of judgment in favor of the landlord. You would have ten days to appeal a Small Claims Court judgment, but once/if the landlord's rights of possession become fixed, the same may apply for a Writ of Possession, which is usually executed a few days after notice is posted on your front door. Once the Writ is executed and you are locked out, you will have seven days to claim your personal belongings, after which anything left in your unit may properly be disposed of as abandoned property. I hope that you can accomplish as smooth a living transition as possible. All the best to you this fall.
