I had been employed for nineteen years over these years issues normal to the day to day grind occured this recent issue was brought on by the managers blantent ability to ridicule me at any time of the work day and get away with it. I thought by informing his manager of his child play that it would stop, it did not, time passed he encounters me at a piece of equipment while on the job and accuses me of safety violation. I immedialtly take offense to his accusation and tell him he's lying and that I would have him written up. He immediatly say your in insubordanation as says your fired and to walk to the office. This is how they got their ball rolling. So as it stands I am fired and the Union deemed it fair. I most certainly can prove otherwise.

This is general information and does not create an attorney client relationship.
You really need to insist that the union file a grievance on your behalf, as this will be the best way to get a day in court. Most union contracts require that employers only fire employees for "just cause." If the union still refuses, you should be able to appeal to the National Union, while the local union preserves your timelines. You should also consult with a labor attorney, and also make sure you bring a copy of your union contract as well as the written termination notice. Good luck with your case.
The answers and comments given are general in nature, and not legal advice as it pertains to your specific question or matter, and does not establish an attorney client relationship. We have not met in person, or spoken on the telephone, and I do not represent you. The choice of an attorney is an important decision, and I encourage you to speak with an attorney in person to review the details of your particular case. Each case will depend on its specific facts, which are not known to me at this time.
