Instead of stopping behind it, I slowed a little down at first then changed lanes because te street was busy, I was late, and I thought this was okay. The ticket reads, "Failure to stop when school bus had red light flashing" It was yellow; the cop himself said it was yellow. Bail is $695 should I; go to traffic school, court trial, or trial by declaration? How can I reduce the charge or ticket?
Should I keep changing court dates hoping hes a no show? (I heard this is ineffective and its only possible to cancel twice)?
Should I argue that I didn't want to stop so as to prevent a rear end while it was yellow?
Plead not guilty and fight it at trial. Maybe the officer won't show and your case will be dismissed! Better still, retain a traffic ticket attorney to appear and handle it. There are many possibilities with an attorney on your side.

I agree with Mr. Finnecy. You have a chance to beat this case with proper legal representation.
Get an attorney to fight this ticket. Passing school bus tickets are expensive. Which court are you in- Chatsworth or Van Nuys ?
