Were you arrested by the police or given a notice to appear in court? If not, then you will probably be getting a letter in the mail which is a civil demand that you pay money. Attorneys on here will tell you not to pay the demand because they will not be filing a suit against you.

Any statements made by me are based upon the limited facts you have presented, and under the premise that you will consult with a local attorney. This is not an attempt to solicit business. I am not sure what your question is. If it is whether this situation is normal, I would say no. Is your address on your ID accurate? If not, this may explain why Target's attorney has not contacted you.
Did you have a legal question. The letter you mention is a "civil demand" letter which most attorneys here recommend NOT paying. What's the hurry? Unless you are summoned to court, you essentially dodged this bullet. Please, QUIT STEALING.
