Is this legal? He gave no sobriety test asked no questions to the driver only searched me because of my informal probation and asked me about the other case. I think he even announced loudly PROBATION SEARCH then ordered me out of the car. I am denying a violation in court from a month earlier.
If your probation has a search condition, yes, you can be searched any time, day or night, without probable cause. You do not, however, have to answer questions about any case.
