There is a Senate Bill or law that allows non-violent female offenders to be released to halfway houses wearing ankle monitors. Has this program been extended to male inmates yet ?
I am unaware of such an aggressive provision that apparently relies upon stereotypes of women as gentle and nurturing. Remember, a bill is a proposed law only. It may not be passed into law. I kind of doubt such a bill would pass, as some of the most violent and tough criminals are females.

I am not aware of any such bill. If it's only a bill, that means it hasn't been passed into law, yet.
