I was in a car accident where I got AAA to tow my car to this auto shop that they handed the card out and I did agree because at that time I did not know where exactly I should go and not much time to gather my thoughts. After everything reported I spoke to my insurance and we discussed and agreed about towing the car to one of their approved locations. Accident was on Sunday evening. We spoke on Monday morning. Now, it's Thursday. The auto shop still have my car and kept calling telling me lies and stories like my insurance approved it while in fact we just discussed about the plan on that morning and the insurance told me she scheduled the tow truck to get my car out. At that evening exactly after the hours of operation he called. Isn't it intentional? I repeat myself millions time that I want my car to be released to my insurance so they can take it to the shop that I agreed with.
Ask your insurance adjuster to call the shop that has your car because of the shop's game playing and arrange for it to be taken away from them. There may be some storage charges, which your adjuster will probably pay.
