I was injured twice at work. The first incident happened in July 2016 were I was lifting heavy packages and I felt a pop in Back. Ended up discovering I had a herniated disc. The second injury occurred in April 2017 walking up stairs making a deliver the customer stairs I fell. I had bruised ribs and my herniated disc turned into a tear. Both cases were denied. Can I fight this case with workers Comp? Would I have high chances of winning?
yes you should advance a claim and you certainly do have a chance of winning. Just because the work comp insurance carrier denies a claim is not an indication of the merit of the claim. They deny most valid claims. The chances of success is something that cannot be answered at this time as I have no idea of the medical evidence which is crucial to this type of claim. Find an experienced comp attorney in your area and discuss it with him or her and go from there. Good luck.
