I suffered a heart attack in 2012 , had surgery to implant a stent in my artery , I applied for SSI promptly and hired an attorney, I was denied and appealed , moved to Arizona because I couldn't afford medical attention in Nv , ( state med assistance wasn't available in my situation at that time ,Az provided free medication,) SSA required me to see they're Dr which I did and a hearing was held and I appeared to that as well, approx 6 months later I was again denied and a few month after that my lawyer dropped me and I found out through contacting them , I've tried to go back to work since losing representation but am physically unable to continue.
What do I do , I'm without sufficient income and practically homeless.
Anyone got any answers.
The first question to resolve is whether you are still within any applicable time period to begin an appeal.
You indicate you were denied, then a few months later you lost representation. You don't indicate whether an appeal was initiated by your counsel in that time frame. Then you reference trying to go back to work, but do not indicate how long that has gone on.
Use the find a lawyer link here at avvo or use Google or Bing or other provider of choice and find counsel with experience in disability denial appeals, either in your area or where you used to live in AZ.
