Your posting, which notes that you "retained an excellent experienced attorney", begs the question "Why are you seeking comment here?" Your attorney, who among any attorney here is in the best position to evaluate the strength or weakness of the prosecution's case, is likewise in the best position to advise you. Listen to your attorney's recommendation regarding any offer to resolve the case and then it will be your decision whether to accept or reject it.
Ask your excellent attorney.....really, trust what he tells you.

I am a criminal defense attorney practicing in Nassau, Suffolk and New York City. The above information is not a substitution for a meeting whereas all potential legal issues can be discussed.
I don't think anyone here can predict what may happen.
I am a former federal and State prosecutor and now handle criminal defense and personal injury/civil rights cases. Feel free to check out my web site and contact me at (212) 577-9797 or via email at Eric@RothsteinLawNY.com. I was named to the Super Lawyers list as one of the top attorneys in New York for 2012. No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers. The above answer is for informational purposes only and not meant as legal advice.
