since this is a third degree felony, will florida fedex me back. I believe that since it is a class c felony warrant that the warrant only applys for the state of florida. please let me know. I still cannot find the warrant even though i have the case number. It is over 2 months old and should be showing in fdle website or the pasco county clerk of court. I also have the uniformed case number which shows no information available. do they seal cases that warrants have not been served. please let me know what you think.
If there a warrants issued for your arrest and they were entered in the NCIC database (if they are for felony charges they probably were entered) any police officer anywhere in the country will arrest and detain you. They will hold you until they hear back from L whether or not they will come and get you. This process in it of itself can take some time and all the while you will be in custody. If you were wanting to clear this up etc. and you couldn't find you case I suggest you contact a local attorney who would be able to assist.
It is highly likely that you will be arrested in Utah (or another state you move to) and this warrant will show up. The NCIC database allows for multi-state tracking of individuals with warrants. You should really try to get the warrant cleared up by hiring an attorney in Florida to represent your interests. There is nothing worse for many people than to wake up in jail while they wait an extradition hearing.
