I stole a tablet from my job but i didnt mean too it was an accident but now the person has put charges on me what do i do.

You twice admitted to theft in one paragraph, on an open and public forum. Tough to explain how you admit to a crime but claim you didn't mean to do it......

Do not talk to police without having a lawyer FIRST---you apparently do not know what to say or how to say what you want to say without knowing what the law considers an admission of guilt.

It's clear you want to do the right thing. However, don't do anything without a lawyer. You need an experienced criminal defense lawyer to guide everything you do from here forward. The lawyer will probably need money upfront - a retainer - be sure to pay it. Obtain financial help from friends or family if you must. You're going to get through this, just make sure you're not doing it without attorney guidance.
