My oldest daughter accused my husband her step father of kissing her and touching her breasts. Case is closed, does that mean I can get my children back? Or did I sign my rights as their mother away forever?
There is no such thing as "temporarily" signing away your parental rights. What were the circumstances when you signed these documents? Were the children in state custody? Were they up for adoption? No one can accurately answer your question without seeing the documents you signed. Did you have a lawyer when you signed the documents? If yes, go back to that lawyer and ask. If not, then you may need to have a lawyer review the documents to give you accurate advice on whether there is anything you can do now.
