went for fuel injector cleaning and had to have my car towed home from the shop, they refuse to admit they did anything wrong and claim i just have bad luck, there are now 11 codes on my cars check engine light 2 cylinders misfiring and a lot of other stuff. motor making a terrible knocking sound and can no longer drive my car. they refuse to fix it and say i have to prove they did something wrong. speaking to other shops they say that if you put the fuel injector in too quick that it can ruin the motor, they deny this claim and say it cant hurt it in any way. speaking to ford motors, they say they cant prove the other shop damaged it, and can only run a diagnostic test to tell me all the problems with the car.
Ask them if they have insurance to cover this. When they say no, ask them which would they rather, to fix it right or to pay a lawyer to defend the lawsuit you will be filing. Other than taking the hit, you either work something out with them or you take them to court.
