While parked sitting in my car w a friend we were waiting for others to arrive to universal studios Hollywood.
I kept hearing something move around in my suv while driving. When we arrived to universal I parked my Honda Element and checked for what it was, it was one of the bottles I’ve been collecting for a garden. (Solar heated raised bed using glass bottles) one of the bottles got out of the bag. I put it up front while wiping down my car w wipes and talking w a friend. The officers taped on the window and asked what we were doing. We were polite, no subriety tests or asked to step out. The officer asked what that was w his flash light and we explained we were not drinking. He asked what we were doing and stepped away. We spoke to the other officer about local food and when the officer came back he asked the other officer if we were compliant, she said yes and he gave us both a similar ticket. Asked us to throw it away as a favor.
I recently got a speeding ticket on my way to school. Completed traffic school and paid my fine. First ticket since my dui.
In 2020 my dui will fall off which occurred in 2010/2011?
Haven’t drank since my dui. (Almost died)
If it's a business and professions code violation it's an infraction with a fine and no points. You might still want to fight it, you should contact a lawyer and see what as professional can do for you.
This answer is not legal advice, it may not even be relevant to the question answered, it definitely is does not establish an attorney/client relationship.
You have a clear defense. You have witnesses and a accepted excepti.ok n to the law. FIGHT IT! You risk a suspension of your license if you don't.
Hire an attorney with knowledge of these types of charges and dont let that cop get away with this.
Best of luck,
No, this will not result in a suspension of your license.
